Project: For this project I was tasked with creating a brochure that comprehensively involved layout, creating a design system across multiple pages, and researching information for the brochure. The most difficult part of this project was to create the various infographics. With this, I was given complete control to research and develop infographics that stayed true to the graphic elements I created as the basis of brochure. An additional challenge, was researching and producing all the content for the brochure—I needed to write all the content. Currently, the range of information based on Aquaponics was difficult to find in order to create a brochure to hold viewers attention without repeating similar information.
Process: Research was the first step, gathering data, visuals and becoming knowledge about the topic was essential. Following this, I began developing the layout. It was peril that I utilized the whole page as the composition rather than as separate. Continuing, I began producing infographics that would be used to break up the collected data. Then, I continued to develop the overall visuals which included finalizing a color palette and supporting images.
